I am soldiering on through Larry McMurtry's "Lonesome Dove." My goal remains 30 pages per day. Even at that slow pace I believe that eventually I'll finish. It is no doubt for me an endearing novel, especially if I can catch myself in the right mood and frame of mind when I sit down to read it.
