Really appreciated this part… saying “Can I get your perspective on this” rather than “Can I get your advice?” is helpful for me to see written out. I hate hate hate when people give me advice especially bc I never ask for it and I just want to feel validated, and it’s interesting to frame it as perspective rather than advice bc then it is literally drawing a line and saying that is THEIR perspective
