okay so i think my comment got lost in the group chat but basically I love ur idea for Hectors book but I had the idea tha maybe this girl should be super anti-technology and be super crunchy and outdoorsy, which intrigues Hector. That way it’s like an opposites attract thing. Also that he feels differently about her than he does Allie and he realizes he always loved Allie as a friend and that he truly loves this new girl

She’s like this introverted moody girl, but her personality comes out when she’s outside or around kids (hence why she’s a camp councilor)

I think it could be funny, especially if maybe she’s just shockingly daring and surprises Hector at every turn by doing crazy stuff (rock climbing freehand, doing super daring stunts, cliff diving, etc), and he doesn’t know what to think of her and he’s intrigued by things he doesn’t understand. Maybe he doesn’t want to like her bc she’s “not his type” but he can’t stop trying to figure her out

LOL you don’t have to use any of this or anything, I just thought it could be a funny story idea that Hector can’t figure this girl out and they’re a classic example of opposites attract (grumpyxsunshine/outdoors girlxsmart guy)
