This book is starting to get interesting. I just read that Natalie, the main character is starting to lose her eyesight even more even after multiple surgeries. She's now told by her mom and her doctor that she must attend a special school for the blind instead of going back to her high school for her sophomore year.

Natalie has been attending her new school for the blind for just 24 hours and she's already over it. She's been "forced" to pick out a cane that's just right for her even though she isn't completely blind yet and that kills her. She's meeting all of these new girls, but she's not too happy about it because she doesn't want to be there in the first place, and now she's told that she has to live with a roommate.

Natalie sits down with a new face, by the name of Serena, at her new school for the blind and learns that not everyone in that school is completely blind. She now comes to the realization that Serena can see as well, just not as good as she (Serena) would hope. Natalie starts to feel homesick and begins missing her friends back in Baltimore, and she completely loses it when she's told that she has to pick out a cane.

Main character Natalie is a normal girl with normal abilities, but she shortly realizes and has to deal with the fact that she now has to live without one of these normal abilities: her sight. The beginning of the book mainly talks about her eyesight starting to fade and how she's trying to cope with it all. It's okay so far. I hope it's better than my last read.
