Predictable, shallow plot, interrupted by geography and navigation lessons as well as what sounds like an infomercial for the author’s previous books. Numerous coincidences in the beginning make the story unbelievable. I was disturbed by female characters who cared mostly about whether they would ever be acceptable to men. Surely the pain from sexual abuse is much deeper.
