So many characters, some with both a name and nickname, and now I remember why I put this down the first time I tried to read it when it first came out. I need a whole day to get immersed - this getting a few minutes in here and there is making it hard to get started and keep everyone straight.

I had the same issue with this book. It was hard at first to keep track. I did ultimately enjoy it once I was able to keep track of everyone. Even read book 2 which I liked more than book 1.

I’m finally over 50% and glad I stuck with it, but it was a push! Glad to know Book 2 has promise though!
