Ok but i love that the Bronte sisters said “what if we deconstructed norms of our time, critiqued everything, questioned what it meant to be a woman and a person, but, like, added gothic atmosphere”

and somehow all of that is cozy to me



not sure what that says about me but Lucy Snowe is teaching me that I shouldn’t care and I love her for that.
