I don't think I've ever voluntarily read so many pages of what feels like a heteronormative slog. It‘s like a 1950s time capsule with a 2000s "girl boss" sticker slapped on it.

Very doubtful about this one but it got gifted to me so will give it a go. My initial impression is that this is some shallow "girl boss feminism". Then, the opening chapter hits me over the head with a 4 year old who read all of Dickens.
