Reading again this time for class and the language is so so wow. It all really makes me think about the time I was camping with my friend lily at enchanted rock and the clouds blocked the moon and we sat on the granite in the night with the red glow of a headlamp the only light around laughing and smoking and I was certain that we were aliens. This book really captures what it’s like to be an alien in Texas.
