Finished book - as it is relatively small. My overall feeling is that I've visited the mid-section of the film Cabaret (without Liza M, of course, and without Berlin). I liked the detail and cinema references in Adair's novel. I like novels set in Paris, Caveat - a slow burn. Reminded me of those French movies I used to watch (before I was seduced by Friedkin and Lumet).
