ok genuinely mark lewisohn is a blessing and I would do unspeakable things to get the second volume of this released. Obv it’s impossible to write a perfect historical account but what I really appreciate about this is it is not nearly as aggressive in spinning some sort of narrative as erm. Some of the other books I’ve read so for that I’m very grateful
