I love adults who hang out/are friends with teens, not in a creepy way, but in a way that shows they don’t hate us or think we’re annoying just for the stage of life we’re in.

belle ໒꒱ Loll im in my late teens and all my friends are like far into adulthood and their sm better then ppl my age they are so respectful and funny and just like NO drama

Sydney (no longer accepting friend requests!) Same! I’m an only child and introvert so I normally hang out with the adults or babies in a social setting/gathering especially with my extended family

Mereda Hart Farynyk @Noëlle - lol, basically teenagers, indeed. AND YET! People of that age can sometimes want to distance themselves from younger people even more than an older adult would because they want to emphasize their "adultness" or whatnot, lol; so it's not significant! ... If that made any sense 🤪

Mereda Hart Farynyk not INSIGNIFICANT*** *face palm* so sorry.

Christina This is nice to see as someone in their twenties (I’m 23, almost 24). I’m always worried the teens on here will perceive me as weird for wanting to befriend them or at least keep me at a far distance bc of it… lol there are more teens on this site than I realized.

I think far too many adults have forgotten what it is like to be a teen.

jaycee ann ✞ (amator librorum) Christina,
as a fifteen year old, I’m definitely wary of adults but I still really appreciate the genuine adults who simply want to befriend us teens!

Christina Oh definitely, being overly cautious is always better than not being cautious enough, I don’t blame any teen at all who decides being wary of me is better than not, I get that completely. This world is just too dangerous to take the risk. I’m actually pleasantly surprised with the amount of caution I have seen people here show regarding adult users. Better safe than sorry, as the saying goes.
