This book is rough to read. I want to take many breaks. It’s slow with the attraction between Keith and Maeve. Hard to fall in love with the characters

So far I met Maeve, who is the royal elf who would be queen when she comes of age and Mary is the nobleman but her fiancé gets killed because he gets cocky because she was looking at Leith who’s the gladiator Leith is 23 and he probably volunteered to become a gladiator in order to get medication, citizenship, and money for his sister‘s medication he had to kill his friend Sully and now he’s pissed
