Wdym his lunatic aunt wasn’t actually senile…wdym she was POISONED BY HER MONEY HUNGRY HUSBAND because he wanted to gamble away her fortune. Like chat WHAT. This is actually insane. He poisoned her then slammed her into a madhouse for literal YEARS. I did not see this coming at all

So actually reading this made me realize how painfully single I truly am. I mean I already knew of my unfortunate state, but somehow the last two chapters seemed to solidify the narrative that I’m going to be a spinster with nothing to my name but a few cats and pipe cleaner creations!!

So actually why did I read an entire chapter about cricket…was it good? Yes. But still. What are we doing. And the last sentence was a WILD statement

So it’s the way my jaw DROPPED when I read chapter twenty-two. I was expecting some big masquerade conflict, NOT THAT. Am I mad? No, definitely not. Am I slightly confused? Y E S.

Guys I’m so scared rn. They’re at a masquerade ball and EVERYONE knows that masquerades + regency is always extremely messy (I’m loving this). Also her costume?? Anne Boleyn eats down. Period Bianca is so cool
