I have gotten to the part of the book of Milena’s letters.

it is pretty much evident as to why Kafka adores this woman; in a few letters she is able to show how wise and eloquent she is, and it appears that Kafka’s worry and care is not one-sided, after all.

I wonder if Milena ever shares the same passion, devotion, and worry that Kafka has for her.

there is a huge intimacy in baring your fears to someone every day—to put so much trust and faith in someone to let them hold that fear with you.

could you be what you are to me if I weren’t sure?

most of f’s letters (so far) are all about his fear.

I think it is intimate, how you trust one so deeply you strip yourself bare and show them all the fear, all the thoughts, all the emotions you keep for yourself alone.
