I loved the slow disintegration of the southern family grandeur.
This book was way better than most tightly engineered murder mysteries.
Great book.

I was hesitant to pick up this book because all of the lukewarm reviews but I loved it. I didn’t mind the murder not being solved, honestly it was expected, the murder was never meant to be solved imo.
It’s about childhood spirit. The mythology children build to survive confusion. (Like To kill a mockingbird)
