I’ve never written so many updates for a book… not only are all the characters, relationships, etc etc terrible, so is the spice!!!!!!!!!

The family dynamics in this book are WEIRD. It genuinely makes me wonder if this author is an only child

Listen I’ve not read any of Jaymin’s other books, but I have a feeling that all these books that the characters are talking about reading are her own books? Am I crazy

These female friendships are the least convincing I’ve ever read. They’ve known each other 5 minutes and are already professing their love for one another and saying they can’t live without each other?? Come on now. At least TRY to make it believable

Never did I think I’d hear the words “we’ve got beef” in a fantasy book

I’m literally 6% into this book and it’s already predictable. I can appreciate some gothic revival architecture though
