Really digging the romantic dynamic in this one too. As long as Mr. Scales doesn't become monogamous by the end for this person. But the way she's built as a character, it would not make sense! That would sour me a little, though, I get too little of well done non-monogamy in books in general!

Well, this has taken a *very* fascinating turn at midpoint.

I think I might love Mr. Scales as MC even more than I already loved Cara, which is an achievement!!

I love how Micaiah Johnson is like: yepp, this sequel / companion novel will also have a bisexual protagonist. Out there representing for us hehe.

This is such a great first person present tense narration that I didn't even notice it for a while!
