Feb 27 busy day off and worked evening so barely got to read. The beginning was so stupid. I don’t like when books start characters off as kids bcuz then you have a bad impression of them, and this particularly so. They were both so stupid and pathetic. I don’t like the plot at all and the writing is modern.

I am SO glad to be done. This was all over the place. Bad plot and annoying characters and the Stupid drama at the end was too much. Nothing could have redeemed it but then it got worse. A bad story ruined by ridiculous emotions and petty drama. Boy this was unpleasant.

Did not make the progress that I wanted. I was so tired of the dynamic of she wants but he’s resistant, finally went there. Unrealistic how she handled it. The “plot” is stretched out so far. There’s just so little to this, it’s lite. I’m ready to be done. Overall boring and tepid and like a pale copy of other books but with a bad plot and shallow history.

Ended up reading a fair bit on day off, in between catching up on Olympics and trying to nap. Not as much as I wanted. I can tell she’s trying to be funny but it just misses the mark. I’m tired of the back and forth and just want them to go there already. The plot is barely there and it’s boring. What a waste of what this relationship could be. Just want to hurry up and be done with that plot line. Not interesting.
