So I wanted to escape reality for a few hours... but the book wouldn't let me. Kind of eerie.

Asi Coming across someone who reads Ursula Le Guin on this platform is like discovering a gold mine beneath your house. :)

Lindenblatt I love Ursula K. Le Guin's works, though this book has a different feel to it than the others I have read to far. These were mostly SF-Fantasy novels (Earthsea, Hainish), but this one seems has more of a dystopian-thriller vibe. We'll see.

Also, I was surprised to find myself on waiting list for this book at my local library. That almost never happens here with this genre and language. Now I want to know who is that other Le Guin fan around here ?! :)

Asi Living in a community where people line up for Le Guin is a wonderful thing. I’m really happy to hear that. You can add me to the Le Guin waiting list too—because I’m a fan as well.
