Despite her horrible mindset, I’m partially rooting for the narrator. There’s moments where she realises that this man is trash and a hypocrite. But, she still needs to stand up. Throughout the book, she never specifies details about her friends, hobbies and even her job. Everything I know about her is relation to a man, which is unfortunate because I know she has more going for her. I know her men, but not her

The writer is so exquisite, but the subject matter is making me want to scratch at my cuticles repeatedly. I fear this book will be my new version of The List. This book is making me want to decenter men further.

It’s giving The List. I’m on a mission to finish it though ! I’m getting the feeling that this book will prompt me to take a social media hiatus.
