Enjoying this book about what makes us different from animals. The author argues it’s our ability to ask why things happen (conceptually not purely observationally), and our understanding of our own mortality. He also argues that there are downsides to the brains we have (we create moral morasses which justify e.g. genocide which animals do not. ) Clear and well-written.
