The doom that came to sarnath
Every detail of the city and surrounding area is explained. The story is not scary at all. I was very frustrated with the difficult English words and sentence structure.

The cats of ulthar
I really liked this story. It was easier to understand than the previous one. It was also a little scarier.

The nameless city

Something with Carter in the title. This was an interesting story kind of like a snippet rather than a full version.

As with "Dagon" there was a lot of visual world building. It is interesting to read how a moment in time is told with such detail.

I'm still missing the horror aspect though.

Dagon.

Worldbuilding was very good, it was easy to imagine what the character was seeing and experiencing.

My first Lovecraft read, not so scary.
