I had to return the audiobook. I could not stand the way that this was read. Additionally, I am unsure if I will finish this book as it has come across pretentious so far. I think the author provides some good and interesting information yet utterly misses big connections in the "why we parent as we do" section at the beginning of the book. Failure to examine or acknowledge the impact of commercialism is a let down.
