I first discovered Atticus in 2019 and this was the first of his books that I read and I immediately fell in love. Now, 7 years later, coming back to these words, they don’t strike me as the world’s best poetry anymore, but they do give me a sense of coming home and familiarity that I truly cherish. (also yes I do still absolutely love quite a few of them!)
