Rahne is very upset they were 'brought back to life' and Doug was not.
Then Genoshan forces attack! Among them is... Havok?!
They capture the teens and Cable swears they'll pay.

But even battered, bloody and bruised, the mutants refuse to give up.
Scott and Alex use their collective power to weaken Hodge and rid him of his suit.
Rahne and Ric bury him under a crumbling citadel...
Alex is to remain in Genosha to help the mutates.
And so will Rahne!
The New Mutants bid farewell to Warlock at Doug’s grave…

Storm has the ability to restore ALL the mutants their powers.
We learn what Forge’s secret weapon was and Hodge’s lab is attacked again and again, weakening him to the point where he must retreat!
Though, before he does, he kills Genegineer who had another secret weapon against the Commander.
Cable promises that they will finish what they started with Hodge…

But Alex knows to help the X-Men, he's gotta remain free...

Jubilee wants to rush to help but Ric stops her.
Lucky too as Hodge arrives and shows off his new Mutate #490...
Ric swears Rahne will be returned to him or the whole island will pay!

While Wolvey and Psylocke fight Hodge, Storm - captured earlier - is turned into Mutate #20!!
