Also the notion of region is so akin to that of subspace, prehensions to vectors, AND the entire theory of extension to H. Grassmann's Theory of Linear Extension (as presented in Whitehead's Treatise on Universal Algebra) that it constantly feels like Nobo is missing the previous works he should actually be referencing.
The theory of abstractive extension is also absent, despite being present in 1920s works.

I think that Nobo is reading a bit too into it. It is weird to justify a later work by an earlier one at key moments of what is clearly PR’s argument —if Whitehead didn’t make enough sense in the Theory of Extension, the conclusion is that his theory is poorly constructed, not that its truth is reserved to those who bother with some sort of hidden doctrine.
Nonetheless by far the best book on the subject.
