A harrowing account of a forgotten war as seen through the eyes of a young boy on holiday. This book had me laughing and crying as you follow his journey and the struggle for his family to survive an ordeal of horrific proportions.

This is an excellent account of how a small boy while on holiday in Cyprus in 1974, experienced at first hand the horrors of a war. I am reading this as part of my background research for my next Alex Swan Mystery novel.
