I feel really bad for him…
The pressure of needing to please your parents ALL the time can truly be awful and that I can relate to.
Also, it can’t be easy to lose your parent to alcohol like that…

I don’t know whether to feel bad for the dad or if I should hate him.
In one way I empathise with him. He is very much like my own father. Time is all there is, and if you’re gonna waste it, you are not needed here. But on the other hand it’s still not an excuse to treat others like they’re worth nothing more than a few minutes.
