The last couple of chapters (Joelle’s Too Much Fun & Hal’s & Orin’s phone conversation) were really enjoyable. Partially, I think because it is the 2nd time I am reading the book and less confused.

Although it feels like I have been reading this book forever, I find it hard to believe that I am so close to The End. I have to admit that I am a little scared about finishing this book. After almost 800 pages, the plot is starting to take shape, but I still have no idea where this book is going. To be clear: I am enjoying reading this book.

Wallace's description of psychotic depression is deep and frightening and perhaps give the reader a glimpse of his state of mind on that September night in 2008.
