listen. i get that its magic and such. but far too much of this book so far is 'and then he didnt understand why but from some strange compulsion he did a thing' atrix going to the battle and then summoning the rider, the king becoming the rider and the daughter watching the visions w the king, him going into the book, him now climbing the mountain. like come on.
