there are moments in this book that are so sweet and make you think “wow young queer love is so beautiful” and then you remember you’re reading about a gay kid in a metaphorical saw trap wrapped up in love, simon movie posters

knocking out my ya contemporary read for the year, dk how it ended up being another “repressed queer kid is suffering at a religious school” narrative but i’m not mad abt it
