I quickly realized I’ll need to read this before continuing with the second in the series. ‘It’s just murder mysteries with the same detective, the stories should barely intersect.’ WRONG. So, so wrong. Turns out this isn’t like Hercule Poirot novels and I’ve already gotten a gazillion spoilers for this book 50 pages into book 2.
