I remember loving this when I was a child and was curious how I felt about it now. Mentions of yoga, tarot card reading, palm reading, reiki massage. While these things are the actions of side characters and are brief mentions, I don't mess with that stuff at all. And its so early on in the book that it makes me question what else content-wise it has. Id rather spend my time supporting Christian MG.

It's so interesting when we go back to books or movies we once loved, only to find unease in them. I've done this too. You were so innocent and didn't know what any of that was as a kid so it went over your head.

Exactly!! It does make me a bit sad and disappointed but it was a great opportunity to reflect and realize how my faith has changed me
