This is exactly what I mean. Chen Jiayu asked for runway 17L, Fang Hao told him it isn’t available. Chen Jiayu thought nothing of it, it’s just airport traffic. But then Fang Hao brings it up again, saying how he can’t just give him the better runway and how he can’t expect this. But Chen Jiayu wasn’t upset or anything. He said he understands! So WHY is Fang Hao upset! Wtf! Why is the author doing this? AAA

I just feel like the misunderstandings are so forced 😭small things are overblown out of proportions… which is out of character. We have a super competent air traffic controller who can handle doing twenty things at once under insane stress but then he lingers on something very petty for weeks? just feels weird… one moment he is amazing at communication but when the plot needs it he just turns into a child

Fang Hao better not be upset that his closeted boyfriend of one month isn’t giving him enough attention because he took his DYING MOTHER on a two week dream trip. Or that his AIRLINE PILOT boyfriend has a busy schedule (which he does too!). Call me crazy but that is just really selfish. I really love Fang Hao as a character. Why are you doing this :( is the author just creating some drama out of nothing again UGH.

I don’t like is how they treat small things as big events. Fang Hao just uses a harsher tone of voice (when working!) and it becomes a huge issue they have to talk through. Or when that other pilot forgot to use the landing lights and it’s still a sore spot between Fang Hao and Chen Jiayu. WHY? talk about making mountains out of molehills. Their “conflicts” are just so forced and overblown for drama’s sake

It took them FOREVER to get to the first kiss but it was immediately followed by ✨three✨ sex scenes so WHO AM I TO COMPLAIN
