I’m losing the plot or gaining it?? I’m lost I’m mostly lost and not yet halfway there. I’m obsessed that much is true but… why? How? When was this established?

Act III is about to start and by now it is clearer than ever that there seems to be a definitive disconnect between the Acts. The other reviewer spoke of the MMC being in this part. I couldn’t tell. The only men she spoke to are Lenora’s dad Oscar and Thad? Who gave her two sheep?? What am I missing?

I’m so scared.

The first 23% or Act I was such a beautiful exploration of loneliness and the ways in which small towns can consume you body and soul.

Now, at the beginning of Act II I don’t know what to think. The writing style is losing its charm in favour of describing outfits— like a lot.

And this Lenora is an echo of every single best friend I’ve read in every romance book in the past two years
