I related most to Leo because he struggles between being himself and fitting in. That pressure to be accepted feels very real, especially in middle school. I related least to Stargirl since she’s so fearless about being different, which is admirable but hard to imagine. Overall, the characters felt believable because their emotions and conflicts seemed realistic.

I tried Sratgirl earlier in the year; I wasn't really interested, so I stopped reading it. But during the winter break, I watched the movie with my sister. It was a good movie, so I wanted to try to read the book again, and so far it's pretty good
