Having a San Diego suburb named Parrish shows a deep misunderstanding of San Diego's history. Nearly every area has a name with Spanish origins and I can't think of any that have origins in French. I know he's from the opposite side of the country and it was the 70s and this is a minor, fly-by detail for fleshing out a potentially minor character he's said Parrish twice now so I wish somebody'd had him pull out a map
