Well crap. Things just went from bad, to worse to way worse. Pirithous is certifiably insane. And even if his plan does succeed, who's to say that he'll succeed in his final phase? At least the Cocoa Puffs are coming in handy, with Grief trying his best to help Nico and Savannah.

Well, I'll be darned. I'm already familiar with one of the newly introduced minor gods. But who are these "Judges"? And why is the courthouse a public space used by humans? This seems rather strange... Still, I like the book so far. (Mostly.)

The square dancing was legitimately hilarious. But tensions still run high between the campers and the mythics. And what are the new arrivals not telling Nico? I have a bad feeling that Savannah's parents were actually killed by an empousa (or a pack of them.)

Nico, you are so real for wanting a nap. And Asterion is an interesting character. Is it just me, or does the way he describes his past remind me of... something terrible that's happened a lot throughout history? But just how many monsters/mythics are there? Probably a dozen, if not even more.

Okay, we have more than a few surprises. And a continuity error or two? I thought Mr. D's punishment of camp counselor for Camp Half Blood was reduced to 50 years instead for helping out in the Second Titan War. Also, Hestia has a daughter? Thought she was a virgin goddess. Unless she has a special way of creating children like Athena does. Well, surprises aside, the humor is definitely on point!
