it still blows my mind when i hear the critique that the idea of universal coverage is considered too “socialized” when the VA and IHS literally exist

like these are government-run entities providing free at point of use medical care to vets and natives but nooooooooo universal coverage is too socialist. man just shut the fuck up and say you don’t care

taiwan by far has the coolest healthcare system

so far i really like the france and uk/nhs systems. canada’s long wait times is diabolical
