I have never beed a big Gilbert Hernández fan, even though I have read a lot of his work, and I must say that this might be the work that finally makes me a convert. This is a gorgeous and emotional story, substantially more subtle than his early Love and Rockets work, but not as abstract as say, Chance in Hell (which is also great, by the way).
