i am heartbroken. what a masterpiece of a novel. this was a quietly wounding dystopian that i've been thinking about nonstop since i first cracked open the cover. it serves as a reminder that much of what we abide by are constructed by society. wow wow wow. a beautifully tragic exploration of humanity, womanhood, love, and loss.
