I'm going to take a break so I can squeeze in what I need to read for my upcoming book club. It worked out well as Rochester has just arrived at Thornfield! Up to this point I feel like I've forgotten a lot of good that is in the early pages of this book. Jane's retelling of her formative years is full of well-written passages, and I'm hoping to remember much of that to better understand her character going forward.
