reading this book is a constant rollercoaster between feeling like my chest has been cracked open because imogen's thoughts feel too close and wanting to strangle gretchen. what she's been through is/awful/, but her trauma is not imogen's fault, so why does she keep acting like it is!!

the fascinating thing about gretchen is that she does not have a single authentic opinion, like none of these are her own all of what she says is her regurgitating stuff she read online, so her takes even end up contradicting themselves sometimes and YET. she hasn't managed to say a single non-horrible thing this whole book.
