Why is it that when I see an awesome summary of a book that makes me interested to read it, the first part of the book has sex and cursing from the get go? (I need to find books in my specific genre instead of what pops up as a popular suggestion on my feed…)
The main character is so drab and seemingly anti-marriage, which is fine given her circumstances, but yeesh… she can go on and on about it

Part one was tough to bear, but now we’re in a part two and the actual story is starting. It’s okay…? I’m giving it the benefit of the doubt, but our main character is still… not what I thought. I probably should have picked a book in my personal genre, cause the talk of drugs, sex (not the doing of it thank goodness), and cursing has been a turn off for me. I know why it’s there, but it’s not helpful.
