Joan’s unique perspective and the prose she expresses herself with can and does make anything sound relevant and interesting– even the mechanical ins and outs of a water distribution plant. I love how she always knows exactly what the fuck she’s talking about, no matter what it is, her syntax transforms the mundane into front page news. I want to read every book she’s ever written.
