i really like reading the lighthouse keepers story throughout the sections. his little life and boyfriend are so cute it’s sad though seeing the backstory behind him and him being so humanized

“What remained was a skeleton that looked uncannily like the confluence of a giant hog and human being, a set of smaller ribs suspended from the larger like a macabre internal chandelier, and tobias that ended in a peculiar nub-like bits off gristle scavenged by birds and coyotes and rats.”
really really loving how this is written so far, it’s so weird and gory and i love it :3
