It is a paradoxical that the person who is most ignorant of the response plan to the launch of a nuclear missile is the same person who has to decide what the response of the USA is, the president. In a way, this is logical because if that decision comes to him, it means that the situation is serious. The doctrine of strike without waiting, is necessary the US will immediately retaliate, even on the alert itself.

In the Nuclear War scenario, the first intercontinental missile was fired by North Korea. This is not so strange because all other nuclear powers are reporting test launches. North Korea is the only one that has not announced any of its launches. Because of this, numerous satellites were parked above it and they immediately located this launched rocket, although they still do not know its trajectory.

The SIOP or OPLAN is an integrated plan of steps that the US will take in the event of a nuclear war. It is cynical to compare it with the Wannsee Conference because the American generals were certainly not racists but cold-blooded soldiers. Likewise, that plan, thank God, has not yet been put to the test.
