Listening to the audio version of this book. Honestly I could not understand why my online book club chose this book. There did not seem to be any appeal, and it appeared to represent a trite and well worn path of redemption. Five chapters in and I am fully engaged, thoroughly enjoying it! So glad to be wrong. As the saying goes, you can’t judge a book by its cover.
