Furor Scribendi feels like something I had to read in school and I would have enjoyed reading it.

I think Positive Obsession is my favorite thing that Butler has written. Is it an essay? Yes. Do I care that it’s not a fiction story? No.

The Evening and the Morning and the Night, again didnt fuck me up but the ending definitely did. The fact that Butler based the disease around 3 different ones and then said “add a little bit of ✨ spice ✨” HUH

Bloodchild was a little confusing but thank god this edition has the afterword for every story and it made it easier to understand what was happening
